Implementing a cloud-based Electronic Lab Notebook for instruction and research leads to interesting challenges regarding access, interinstitutional collaboration, security, FERPA compliance, and data management. This panel will present the Cornell University ELN pilot with instructional and research participants, share research outcomes, and describe the transition from pilot to campus service.
