Seminar 13A - Iterative Design Process of Curriculum and Games (separate registration required)
Tuesday, October 15, 2013 | 9:00AM–12:30PM | Meeting Room 211A/B
Session Type:
Professional Development
During this workshop, we will form small groups, create a theme, and design analog games in one hour using that theme. In the second hour, we will play test these games in groups and offer feedback and design advice. What we hope to convey is the importance of a standard games industry practice of designing analog prototypes of digital products, the idea behind rapid prototyping in relation to design in any medium, and the importance of collaboration and consensus when making these products and their relation to designing curriculum.
