Seminar 15A - Exploring Strategies for Physical and Virtual Computing Spaces (separate registration is required)

Monday, September 29, 2014 | 9:00AM–12:30PM | Meeting Room W304A
Session Type: Professional Development
In the past, computing spaces at higher education institutions were designed to meet the needs of a student population without computing technology. With students having their own devices, needs have evolved. We will address physical and virtual aspects of general access labs, instructional labs, learning spaces, and modular approaches.

OUTCOMES: Explore and identify current computing space environment needs * Gather ideas for future computing space considerations * Determine planning for trends for computing facilities both physical and virtual, and assess and identify the value of these services to the institution
