Learning Objects, Inc., UMUC, IMS, and C-BEN have collaborated on a competency-aligned transcript of the future. We will provide an overview of emerging competency metadata standards, a vision of a "living" student-centric competency-aligned transcript, a proof-of-concept demo of a full CBE life-cycle architecture, and alignment with EDUCAUSE's NGDLE (next-generation digital learning environment) vision.
