This session will explore key tenets of the UPCEA Hallmarks of Excellence in online education. Through engaged dialogue and discussion, senior academic leaders will examine the characteristics necessary to make online education worthy of the highest ideals of higher learning. Preparatory reading is strongly recommended; please see session resources.


Outcomes: Develop close familiarity with the UPCEA Hallmarks of Excellence framework * Develop a deeper understanding of leadership qualities important to online education * Identify key relationships and organizational interrelationships required to foster online learning success * Understand how to use the hallmarks for future strategic planning
