Wednesday, October 28, 2015 | 12:40PM–1:30PM | Wabash Ballroom 1
Session Type: Professional Development

The success of any reform depends on the effectiveness of those leading the change effort. Because leaders involved in implementing integrated planning and advising services (IPAS) systems are simultaneously tasked with overseeing the technical aspects of getting a new technology up and running and with motivating end users to adopt the new technology in ways that fundamentally transform the process of advising, leadership plays an especially critical role in IPAS-related reform.

Outcomes: Gain clarity around the multiple leadership roles a president must play in successful technology deployment * Understand how organizational leadership must be distributed across departments and hierarchy structures * Learn approaches to encourage effective adoption and utilization of student success technology
