What does brain science have to say about designing effective talks, seminars, and speeches? In this workshop, you will discover how the brain processes information and then use these insights to discover how to create successful presentations. Topics will include how the brain pays attention to information, what makes information memorable, and what makes information relevant.


OUTCOMES: Understand why you have to divide your presentations into 10-minute "chunks" * Understand the role emotions play in making information interesting, memorable, and relevant * Understand how the brain processes text and pictures and how this information informs effective slide design
