In 2014, after soliciting applications from over a hundred leading innovative organizations and companies, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation awarded $20M to a diverse portfolio of seven digital courseware providers to design, develop, and scale best-in-class digital courseware in a variety of general education disciplines. The courseware developed by these organizations is intended to surpass what's currently available to the market in terms of quality, price, scalability, and adaptability and, most importantly, to improve the postsecondary success of more than a million low-income students by 2018. Come to the innovation stage to learn about the present and future of best-in-class digital courseware. Meet pioneering courseware organizations developing these learning environments that will help faculty improve learning outcomes and mastery for undergraduates in 100- and 200-level general education courses. In addition to an interactive overview of the courseware, you'll also have an opportunity to engage with these courseware leaders in more intimate discussions.
