Start-Up Alley

We're pleased to announce the selection of our 2016 Start-Up Alley companies. These emerging edtech companies are creating new models and leveraging technology in innovative ways to address key issues in higher education including access, student success, retention, and cost.

Make sure to engage with these 27 emerging companies in the Start-Up Alley space on the exhibit floor Wednesday, October 26 and Thursday, October 27. Interact with new technologies, share your product and service feedback, and identify potential solutions that meet the needs of your institution.

2016 Start-Up Alley Participants

All participating companies are under five years old, have less than $1M in revenue, and employ under 50 employees.

Under the Ed Radar Pitch Competition

Ten of these Start-Up Alley companies will be selected to compete in the Under the Ed Radar Pitch Competition during the Annual Conference. Each will deliver a 7-minute pitch presentation focused on their innovative solutions and business models in front of a panel of judges comprised of business thought leaders and entrepreneurs.
