Providing CME and Compliance Training to External Institutions

Medical and academic institutions must provide compliance training courses to their medical professionals and continually verify that their medical professionals are in compliance with training requirements. As part of an Integrated Advanced Information Management Systems (IAIMS) initiative funded by the National Library of Medicine, the University of Cincinnati uses cross-institutional authentication in an innovative fashion to provide compliance and CME training via the Web to medical professionals at cooperating institutions and generate consolidated transcripts for training taken by medical professionals at each cooperating institution.
