Digital/e-Portfolios and Learning: From Mosaic to Kaleidoscope - Static to Dynamic

Electronic portfolio use in higher education is on the rise. This session describes types and uses of e-portfolios, emphasizing how students use them to create learning mosaics by analyzing their patterns of learning. An overview of Alverno's diagnostic digital portfolio and its implementation, uses, and benefits and challenges will be demonstrated.
