Complex IT topics such as data mining present unique challenges when teaching online. Course preparation requires selection of effective texts, software, and demonstration tools. This report outlines lessons learned and recommendations formulated during the preparation of a SCORM-compliant online version of the "Introduction to Data Mining" course.
