UNICON, Inc. - Using Open-Source uPortal Technology to Create a Comprehensive Online Environment

Open-source, uPortal, has quickly grown into one of the leading enterprise portals in the higher education community. This presentation explores the uPortal framework, followed by a discussion on how Unicon has helped various institutions create a comprehensive online environment by integrating the "u-Portal based" Academus application with Course Management, SIS, e-mail, library, and web self-service systems.
