Open source uPortal has quickly grown into one of the leading enterprise portals in the higher education community. This presentation explores the uPortal framework, followed by a discussion of how Unicon has helped various institutions create a comprehensive online environment by integrating the u-Portal based–Academus application with course management, student information, e-mail, library, and Web self-service systems.
