The high cost of cyber forensic experts leads to outsourcing forensic analysis or not complying with regulations. The benefits of properly implemented cyber forensics, however, can be valuable for implementing critical security measures. Cyber forensics lowers risk, improves incident recovery time, and distributes costs and compliance. This presentation will summarize forensic techniques used by the University of Oklahoma that give the best return on investment and compliance requirements.
