In recent years, Acacia Media, Test.com, and others have begun targeting numerous higher ed institutions with threats over the use of basic educational technologies such as streaming media or online test administration. How should schools respond to these and future challenges? This session will discuss how to identify potential patent threats, how to respond to them, and what long-term strategies you can undertake to minimize their impact on educational costs and practices.
