Faculty face significant time pressures when developing an online or hybrid course. Initially, they focus on learning the technology, pedagogy, and content. Only later can they focus on the quality and effectiveness of Internet instruction. This presentation will address three areas: building online community, online exercises and activities, and media use in Internet instruction.
