Session Type: Professional Development
What kinds of information technologies do students use? How does this use contribute to their undergraduate experience? An ECAR study involving 4,374 students at13 higher education institutions finds that many of the most IT literate students had mixed feelings about technology in the classroom. Students use classroom IT including course management systems mostly for communication of information and administrative activities and much less in support of learning.
