Change: The Constant of Modern Times

Wednesday, August 10, 2005 | 11:30AM–1:15PM | Anderson Room (First Floor, Conference Center)
Session Type: Professional Development
It has been argued that there has been more change in the past 200 years than in the previous 5,000. One of today's biggest change agents is information technology. This big-picture rumination will look briefly at three industries to examine changes in the past (in agriculture), present (in telecommunications), and future (in education). Agriculture may provide a metaphor for coming changes in the more relevant telecommunications and education industries.
