Open source projects are proliferating throughout higher education. This trend raises hopes for new business models, opportunities for collaboration, questions of sustainability and long-term viability, and challenges for the potential adopters. This session will address these issues from the strategic perspectives of a college president and the president of a commercial support provider who will reflect on their experiences and expectations for community source development.
