Monday, August 08 | 11:30AM–1:00PM | Erickson/Carroll/Sinclair Rooms (First Floor, Conference Center)
Session Type: Professional Development
Open source projects are proliferating throughout higher education. This trend raises hopes for new business models, opportunities for collaboration, questions of sustainability and long-term viability, and challenges for the potential adopters. This session will address these issues from the strategic perspectives of a college president and the president of a commercial support provider who will reflect on their experiences and expectations for community source development.
