Better Policy Control Through Privilege Management

Centrally defined privilege management consolidates user management of privileges and provides greater control and consistency in the implementation of policy. We will examine the benefits and challenges of introducing this level of privilege management at an institution. In this context, we will introduce Signet, an Internet2 privilege management product whose functions and features demonstrate principles discussed in this session.
