Extending an infrastructure to accommodate a model of distributed control requires a strong foundation in integration and provisioning of data. In an open discussion, we will look at the uses of directories, standards (current and emerging), participation, and use of open source software, shared tools, and the work of Internet2. What are your implementation challenges and opportunities? What are the unobvious, ambiguous, undefined, or otherwise perplexing aspects of your use cases and how are you planning to meet them?
