Introduction to Shibboleth and Phases for Deployment

The Shibboleth System deployment can be separated into three phases: WebSSO authentication, attribute delivery for authorization, and federated authentication/authorization. This session will provide an overview of the software and these implementation phases and their effect on existing infrastructure and business processes. Particular attention will be paid to the process of creating an "intracampus federation."
