Properly Securing "Sensitive Information" Across The Campus

Information Technologies began making departments aware of their responsibilities to protect personal information. Surveys indicated that although most departments knew about policies, few were aware of the risks of identity theft, and almost all needed assistance translating this knowledge into action. Our presentation describes how we defined guidelines, our awareness campaign, and auditing of departments.
