University of Missouri President Elson S. Floyd will discuss his perspective on issues facing higher education and the role information technology can play both now and in the future. Dr. Floyd will suggest that higher education must not only change with the times—it must become an agent of change if the United States is to continue to lead and prosper in today’s competitive global economy. The enhanced use of technology and innovation is vital to educating the next generation of students and leaders.
