The School of Art and Design at the University of Michigan will share their experiences in implementing a required student laptop computer purchase program, now in its third year. Issues of curriculum needs, faculty input, communication, and planning for hardware, software, wireless infrastructure, procurement, security, distribution logistics, and financial aid will be discussed.
