Accessing Our Research Bibliographies Online: Better or Just Different?

This presentation reports on an exploratory case study of bibliography software and user preference regarding bibliographic database management. What makes the new online bibliographic software (RefWorks) attractive to academic users? Interviews with higher education faculty (online, offline, or synchronized users) explore research questions regarding user characteristics and preference toward bibliographic database maintenance and technology.
