Key Challenges Facing Higher Education

Please join EDUCAUSE staff for an open discussion of the key challenges facing higher education in the decade 2006•2015. We will brainstorm key challenges, such as the economic, political, and demographic factors affecting higher education and discuss opportunities where IT can be instrumental in enabling higher education’s efforts to address some of these challenges (for example, how to increase access, control costs, or enhance quality). We will solicit your suggestions about specific initiatives EDUCAUSE and its partners can pursue—initiatives that could make a significant and positive impact on one or more of the challenges facing our institutions.
