Replicating real-world instructional design project teams (with the roles of an instructional designer, instructor, subject matter expert, and evaluator) in online courses consists of students examining a case, analyzing problems, producing solutions, designing instruction, and evaluating the approach. Other instructional design teams within the course review each other's approaches and critique the various proposed solutions.
