Affiliates/Guests: Who Are These People, and How Do We Give Them Services?

The University of Maryland provides limited services to affiliates/guests (not faculty, staff, or students). Previously, there was no coordinated process or system to track this population, facilitate authorization of services, or enable Directory authentication. This presentation will discuss how we incorporated this "unknown" group into our infrastructure and the lessons we learned.
