Intelligent Agents Providing Automated Student Assistance

Thursday, January 18 | 11:45AM–12:30PM | Harborside Ballroom B
Session Type: Professional Development
An intelligent agent application that automatically provides always-on assistance for Blackboard, a popular course management system, has been developed. This system is able to assist students in accomplishing common tasks in Blackboard. Interactions are anonymously captured, facilitating data mining of the conversations to incrementally make the agent "smarter" over time.
