Effective use of data is not just a strategic opportunity for a leader, it is also an important tactic to influence decisions and improve program quality. This session focuses on the questions to consider when deciding how to collect and strategically use data across the organization. Topics include: building a culture of assessment; using data to make the case and communicate effectively; selecting data appropriate to the audience; addressing challenges in data collection; and determining how the quality of data has both short-term and long-term consequences.
