The University of Alabama has implemented FAR, the Faculty Activity Report system, to give faculty the ability and flexibility to enter information concerning research, teaching, and service. This presentation will demonstrate how to use FAR as an administrative tool for reviews, to streamline the tenure and promotion process, and to generate data for annual and other miscellaneous reports.
