After the Honeymoon: Sustaining a Successful Portal

Wednesday, April 15, 2009 | 10:30AM–11:15AM | Monterey I
Session Type: Professional Development
Achieving a successful portal implementation is no small feat. Months of planning and research are usually spent on defining a portal. The launch day finally arrives and everything goes according to plan (or close enough), accolades are heard down the hall, users are delighted, and the implementation project is closed. But what happens two, five, and seven years down the road? How do we sustain the success and user satisfaction level of the initial implementation? This presentation will address some of the key areas to keep in mind while maintaining and further developing a portal.
