Spinning No Resources into Gold

At UCSC, the harsh economic climate has challenged us to find new ways to solve problems while restricting resource commitment as much as possible. We will present a case study in which we rose to the challenge and in the process created an approach that allowed faculty to take the lead, minimized staff involvement, was amazingly nimble, and produced a low-cost solution that, given the dynamic nature of the technology, could easily evolve with the technology. This approach will continue to be useful regardless of economic realities because it is customer-driven and agile.
