Students feel the impact of IT strategic planning, but do they have the opportunity to contribute insights on how students could become more effective learners and leaders? IT planners at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign are taking a new approach to empowering students to provide crucial input on their emerging needs. This presentation will describe the model, students' roles, how input is channeled to academic and IT decision makers, and how this new relationship with students has benefited everyone involved.
