Finding an approach to project management that works for varyingtypes and sizes of projects within the higher education environmentcan be a challenge. Both Marquette University and Loyola UniversityChicago use defined methodologies. Marquette uses Microsoft's ProjectServer to create a highly collaborative environment for project managers,team members, and other stakeholders. Loyola uses an internallydeveloped solution to help with project governance and to align IT withthe strategic direction of the institution. Each institution's approachworks effectively for its respective project management offices to prioritize,select, and execute enterprise projects. This presentation willcover the two institutions' “right fit” approaches to the methodologyand tools used to achieve project management success.
