As "cloud" tools proliferate, it is increasingly easier to integrate these new media tools into the academy and to adapt them for our teaching and learning environments. In addition to the usefulness and relatively low cost of these tools, equal consideration must be given to the effort required to support these tools within our campus environments. The University of Memphis has attempted to build sets of criteria around recommended teaching and learning tools, which include many new and emerging "cloud" or "Web 2.0" tools.
