An Identity Management Program at One Year

At the end of 2009, UW–Milwaukee experienced both opportunities and challenges related to the institution's identity management services. These opportunities and challenges arose from new institutional growth and research initiatives. The chosen response was to charter a formal identity and access management program to coordinate IAM service improvement efforts and implement new services such as federated identity. This presentation will explore the process used to charter the program and some of the early outcomes.
