Tuesday, March 15, 2011 | 2:30PM–3:30PM | Empire/Seventh Floor
Session Type: MWRC11

The Foreign Language Technology Program (FLTP) is a nondegree program offering training in the theories and practices of instructional technologies. It gives language teachers an opportunity to acquire the technological skills they need to independently integrate a wide range of technologies in their classes. The curriculum of the FLTP places an equal emphasis on the acquisition of instructional design principles and the development of technical skills. The workshops address areas of foreign language instruction, including literature and culture, and offer training in the most relevant technologies and design principles. Upon completion of the required workshops, participants develop an online multimedia portfolio.
