Experiential Learning for Student Staff

As host employers for DePauw University's Information Technology Associates Program (ITAP, a four-year program of distinction), full-time staff members in Instructional & Learning Services (ILS) developed a student staff program that provides the high level of support expected by our campus constituents, as well as enhances our student staff members' academic experience through experiential learning. This is achieved through providing core competency training, setting goals and objectives, offering topic discussions, managing projects and tasks, developing and maintaining e-portfolios, and using a Student Director Team to assist in the management and leadership of our student staff. This session will discuss the development and sustainability of the ILS associate's program.
