Northeast Wisconsin Technical College serves about 41,000 students each year. Like many higher education institutions, NWTC sought a more cost-effective and efficient way to manage its servers and deliver PC-based applications and data to students both on campus and through distance learning programs. NWTC turned to VMware to provide a virtual desktop solution for over 3,500 workstations across campus.
