Immersive Feedback to Improve Student Learning

Tuesday, March 15 | 10:30AM–11:15AM | Seville West/First Floor
Session Type: Professional Development
Engaging students and providing immersive, meaningful feedback through assessment is the key to enhancing students' learning experiences and success in the classroom. Business communication students were surveyed to determine their perceived most effective method of assessment on writing assignments. The results indicated not only their familiarity with handwritten feedback but also their preference for a process that incorporates visual, auditory, and handwritten presentation. In addition to presenting the results of the research, we will demonstrate the technique and feedback from students who were given this feedback option.
