Maximizing Educational Technology Tools in an LMS to Assess Students' Conceptual and Visual Understanding

Tuesday, March 15, 2011 | 12:45PM–1:30PM | King Arthur's Court/Third Floor
Session Type: Professional Development
Finding the most effective way to integrate educational technology tools in a learning management system to assess learning can be a challenge. Many instructors stray from enhancing assessments with these tools although findings suggest that effectively using them can add conceptual and pedagogical value to the traditional forms of evaluation. This session will offer best practices and skills on how to effectively integrate educational technology tools into assessments to create a more engaging environment for students as well as provide faculty with a more comprehensive view of student conceptual and visual understanding of the content.
