"They Really Need to See Me!" The Realities of Teaching Faculty to Teach Online

Monday, March 14 | 3:30PM–4:15PM | King Arthur's Court/Third Floor
Session Type: Professional Development
Online education has become more than just a vehicle for degree completion—it's a vehicle for students to earn complete degrees. With this phenomenon, students may never come to a brick-and-mortar building. Faculty will have to adjust to the new teaching environment, which includes a new way of engaging students and presenting content. This session will discuss the creation of an online teaching development program created for faculty who teach general education courses to help them become student-focused online educators at Indiana State University.
