In today's online environment, it's hard to ignore the impacts of social tools in our everyday world. From Facebook to LinkedIn, from MySpace to Twitter, millions of people use these tools every day. Pearson LearningStudio in collaboration with Columbia University strives to include social media tools within the online learning environment to foster interactive online communication and increase student engagement. This session will highlight the advances in the Pearson LearningStudio design that allow for information sharing, greater collaboration, and a student-centered experience — all working toward the goal of success for the school, the instructor, and, most importantly, the student.
