From Data to Dashboard for Library IT Operations

We use a digital dashboard to access and display real-time information to better manage library IT operations as well as for business intelligence. It provides real-time snapshots of key performance indicators and allows us to evaluate data and situations at a glance without the need to go through lengthy reports or spreadsheets. We also created a platform-independent, mobile-friendly version with data visualization features within the screen-size limitations of mobile devices. This presentation will describe our operational uses, application design and development, and benefits and challenges.
