Instructional Innovation and Strategic Thinking with the iPad

Thursday, June 02, 2011 | 11:45AM–12:30PM | Elizabeth/Eastover
Session Type: Professional Development
This special "Experience IT" session is designed to offer a hands-on, highly interactive introduction to an emerging tool and explore its potential impact for professional development and the classroom. Please bring your iPad-or laptop or mobile device-to the session so you can engage with the presenter (an iPad is desired but not required to participate). Seating will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

The iPad allows us to read textbooks, investigate course-specific and supplementary concepts, conduct research via library databases, and access lecture notes, content, and audio and video (through the web, servers, Blackboard, iTunes U, and more). This session will provide a snapshot of a truly innovative technology.
