Session Type: Professional Development
In the past three years, the OCIO has focused on developing project, program and portfolio management within the central IT department at the University of Georgia. In 2010 the OCIO made significant advancements in terms of resource allocation and scheduling. One significant issue faced by the organization is balancing production services and projects/programs with the supply of resources available to do the work. We will demonstrate our current process and tools for scheduling projects and resources to maintain a managed demand and a balanced and planned work level across the organization.
