Collaboration with Google Apps

Tuesday, February 22 | 3:30PM–4:15PM | Meeting Room 402
Session Type: Professional Development, WSWRC11
This special "Experience IT" session is designed to offer a hands-on, highly interactive introduction to an emerging tool and explore its potential impact for professional development and the classroom. Please bring your iPad or laptop to the session so you can engage with the presenter. Seating will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

Google Apps is a collection of web-based programs for communications, productivity, and content creation that run in a web browser. With Google Apps, sharing content is as simple as granting someone access, which facilitates collaboration, peer review of academic materials, and the collective generation of knowledge. In this session, we'll explore the tools offered as part of Google Apps as well as potential uses on campus and in the classroom.
